Now that the Moto 360 Sport has been announced, you might find it interesting that Motorola says the device has a “first of its kind LCD display.” While indoors, the LCD panel will use the same back lighting technology that we’re used to, but when you’re in direct sunlight, it uses a “front lit reflective technology.” This makes things easily visible even when outside.

Android Marshmallow OTA Captured for Moto X (2014)

The second generation Moto X is now receiving an over-the-air update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. XDA Forum Member ricos-web managed to capture the update for the European variant of the phone. If you want to flash it, your phone has to be in vanilla state – without root and any system modifications.

SwiftKey Beta Brings New Emoji Support

With the recent 6.0.1 release, Android brought a bunch of new emojis. If you want to use them with SwiftKey, you can download the latest beta version from the Play Store. Official support will surely be integrated into the stable release soon, but you don’t have to keep waiting for that.

VLC Makes Its Way to ChromeOS
