MIUI is Xiaomi’s custom flavor of Android, and while it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, it certainly has a lot of fans on our forums. So much so that we see MIUI being ported to more and more devices each week, and this time the Honor 5X is the latest in the line to taste MIUI.
Thanks to OneTeam, MIUI is now available for the Honor 5X. The ROM is based on Lineage OS and is compiled from MIUI PatchROM resources. It is currently based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, which is what the latest stable version of MIUI is also based on. Fortunately, the ROM is already on the June security update, and future security patches are promised to come in the future. You can find more details in the linked thread below.
