Will/Would You Exchange Your Samsung Galaxy Note 7?

The western world woke up to the news of Samsung issuing a wide recall for the Galaxy Note 7. With the recall, Samsung has worded a seemingly vague promise.

For customers who already have Galaxy Note7 devices, we will voluntarily replace their current device with a new one over the coming weeks.

While one can argue about the logical and lexical semantics about the statement and how it could apply to all or just affected devices, it is not clear as of yet if there is a way on the consumer’s end to pinpoint if their Galaxy Note 7 has an issue or not. With the 35 reported incidents from 2.5 Million devices sold, and an investigative rate of 24 per million sold, the odds at this stage of landing a defective unit are over 1 in 41,000. Since this is a voluntary recall at this stage, the choice is on the customer if they wish to get their device replaced. So we ask you,

Under current circumstances, would you get your (real or fictional) Samsung Galaxy Note 7 replaced? If given a chance, will/would you pick up a different device instead, or will/would you stick with your decision?
