The Sony Xperia M5 features a hybrid autofocus setup which gets demoed on this hands-on video. The system combines traditional contrast-base autofocus with the newer phase detection for its 21.5MP rear camera to give really quick focusing speeds, which are claimed to be as low as 250 milliseconds.
